This is one of the first compact portables, though a later model of the Portable 1, for home use, and features a 4 bank keyboard with top striking keys, which can be lowered when not in use and raised again for typing. Very popular in its time and Remington sold quite a few, over 600,000. Very cute, very interesting eye catcher and great conversation piece.
